Job Details:
Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location: Columbia, SC
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2285.64 - 2399.92
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Call is 3-4 call shifts in a 6 week period with one of those shifts being on a weekend; 13-26 week option (if 26 weeks MUST WORK 2 of the 3 main holidays); AHA BLS required; Med test required; Strong in PEDS & ENT; will consider 3x12s; strong ENT, Plastics, and PEDS experience required
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room setting
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery and monitor their condition during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care and documentation
- Handle call shifts, including weekends, as part of the scheduled rotation
