Job Details:

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit
Location: West Chester, PA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2188.16 - 2297.57
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night Shift; Every third weekend; holiday coverage based on unit staffing needs, with at least one holiday required)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; BSN; Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license; BLS/CPR; ACLS; ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, high-turnover PCU environment
Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients requiring a higher level of monitoring and intervention than a traditional telemetry unit.
• Care for a diverse, medically complex patient population in a high-acuity environment.
• Manage frequent admissions, transfers, patient downgrades, and changes in patient status.
• Support patients with cardiac, respiratory, organ failure, withdrawal, and other complex clinical needs.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit environment.
