Job Title: LPN - Corrections
Location: Roanoke, VA
Setting: Corrections
Pay Range: $63.00 per hour (Negotiable, Weekly Pay)
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available

Requirements:

• 25 years of experience as an LPN
• 10 years of correctional setting experience
• Valid LPN license; willingness to obtain Virginia licensure
• At least 1 year of U.S. LPN patient care experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in high-risk environments
• Good standing with multiple active LPN licenses, including compact license

Responsibilities:

As a healthcare professional in a corrections facility, you will:

• Provide routine nursing care, medication administration, and emergency response to inmate patients.
• Conduct mental health screenings, monitor suicidal behaviors, and implement restraint procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with custody staff to ensure safety and security within the correctional environment.
