Start Date: Seasonal assignment

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 4-5:1 patient ratio | 38-bed Neurotrauma unit

Highlights:

• Specialized neurotrauma care on a dedicated 38-bed unit with experienced staff
• Collaborative team environment with charge nurse support and PCT assistance on every shift
• Work with stroke patients, seizure monitoring, trach care, and comprehensive neurological assessments
• EMR system: Meditech
• Standard equipment includes IV pumps, seizure monitoring systems, Bi-pap, C-pap, and glucometers
• Opportunity to apply Neuro Clinical Practice Guidelines for stroke care (AANN standards)

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong medical-surgical background required
• Previous neuro or neurotrauma experience strongly preferred
• Experience with NIH/stroke assessments, neurological assessments, trach care, and feeding tube management
