Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• 15-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a Level II Trauma facility
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for focused, quality care delivery
• Experience with advanced equipment including continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), general cardiac monitoring, and transthoracic pacemaker (TPT) placements
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and clinical workflows
• Collaborative environment with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary support staff on every shift
• Teaching hospital environment with physicians willing to train on new skills

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas or compact state eligibility
• Pediatric ICU nursing experience required
• Ability to work well under pressure with strong critical thinking skills
• Excellent patient assessment capabilities
• Proficiency in IV starts and blood draws
• CRRT experience and APHON certification preferred
