Schedule: Must work 3 weekends per 6-week schedule; self-scheduling available

Highlights:

• Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 (PICU) and 1:2 to 1:3 (Stepdown)
• Provide critical care to pediatric patients in the region's only children's hospital, serving as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center
• Experience a range of advanced procedures including IV starts, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management
• Utilize Cerner documentation system and Alaris pump technology in a Magnet-designated facility
• Self-scheduling flexibility with weekend rotation requirements
• Support from unit staff including Health Unit Coordinators and shared technician resources

Requirements:

• Current RN license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Willingness to float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed
