Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, two weekend shifts biweekly, no on-call

• 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in post-operative cardiac surgical patients
• Advanced monitoring and life support technology including Impella, CRRT (NextStage), Swan Ganz catheters, and ventilator management
• Collaborative team environment with 45 nursing staff members and dedicated Charge Nurse support on every shift
• Manageable 2:1 patient ratio allowing for focused, quality critical care
• EMR: Meditech
• May float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, or Cardiac Progressive Care Unit

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (Adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or other critical care specialty)
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube care
• Preferred: CVICU-specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella experience
• Preferred: BSN, CCRN certification, Meditech experience
