Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule; 6:1 patient ratio on a 20-bed unit

Highlights:

• Work in a dynamic Neuro Med/Surg unit within a Comprehensive Stroke Center, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Utilize Meditech documentation system with modern equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse ox, PCA, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication technology
• Supported by tech assistance on day and night shifts, plus unit secretary coverage from 7a-7p
• Contract labor is prioritized for floating rotation
• Engage in diverse Med/Surg care including IV therapy, wound care, surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tube maintenance
• Structured schedule with clear weekend rotation expectations

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• Med/Surg experience with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in IV insertion and basic wound care
• Experience managing surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
