Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule; 6:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• 34-bed Medical-Surgical/Trauma unit at an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke and Certified Chest Pain Center designations
• Collaborative environment with tech support on day and night shifts, plus unit secretary coverage from 7a-7p
• Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse ox, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, and iMobile communication technology
• Hands-on clinical experience with wound care, IV starts, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Supportive floating policy with contract labor floating first, ensuring schedule stability
• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity setting with diverse case mix and trauma patient population

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Medical-Surgical experience required
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in IV starts and basic wound care
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
