Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, Monday through Friday, (2) 12-hour shifts per week, 1900-0700. Holiday coverage as needed.

Highlights:

• Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary Operating Room team serving diverse patient populations including pediatrics, neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
• Epic charting system in use; Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU on-site
• 32 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful integration
• Exposure to comprehensive surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, neurosurgery, and more
• Access to interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services and Pharmacy

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin nursing license or valid compact license from permanent address state (must be in hand at submittal)
• BLS certification through American Heart Association ONLY
• PALS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years acute care OR experience within the last 3 years in the specialty
• Epic charting experience required
• Must pass telemetry exam with strict criteria (80% passing score; 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in a wide range of OR skills including pediatric procedures, trauma cases, conscious sedation monitoring, laser safety, and specimen handling
