Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – New Jersey

Start Date: April 27, 2026
Location: Plainfield, New Jersey
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 8-hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, plus two Wednesdays per month as needed. One Saturday per month required. No holiday or on-call obligations.

Highlights:

• Specialize in cardiac nuclear stress testing in a hospital outpatient department setting
• Work with advanced imaging systems including Digirad camera, PACS workstation, and Philips ISCV reporting system
• Utilize EPIC and Nuctrac electronic medical record systems for documentation and patient management
• Perform diagnostic cardiac testing with opportunity to rotate through Cardiology and PET/CT as needed
• Part-time schedule with minimal weekend commitment and no holiday or on-call requirements
• Collaborate with physicians in therapeutic radioisotope procedures and organ imaging studies

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Valid NJDEP license
• ARRT or NMTCB registry certification
• BLS certification by American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a busy hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Proficiency with IV starts and cardiac nuclear stress testing protocols
