Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 2:1 patient ratio; two weekend shifts per two-week period

Highlights:

• 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with advanced cardiac surgical recovery capabilities
• Comprehensive critical care experience including CABG recovery, hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, arterial lines, and chest tube management
• Advanced equipment including Impella, CRRT (NextStage), ventilators, and EV 1000 hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Manageable 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio with dedicated Charge Nurse support on every shift
• EMR: Meditech
• No on-call requirements

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of adult critical care experience (ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or other critical care specialty)
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes
• CVICU experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience strongly preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• BSN and CCRN certification preferred
• Must be flexible to float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, or Cardiac PCU as needed
