Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed per two-week period; 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; 2 major and 2 minor holidays required

Highlights:

• 23-bed medical surgical unit providing general acute care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• EMR system: Meditech
• Collaborative team structure with Charge Nurse, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries on each shift
• Modern equipment including Pyxis medication management, Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and patient transfer technology
• May float to other medical surgical units and telemetry as needed
• Two positions available

Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN license
• BLS certification required
• Inpatient hospital nursing experience required
• ACLS certification preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
