Schedule: Primary assignment in CVOR with float to Main OR for Ortho and General cases. On-call requirement includes one 48-hour weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday) and two 8-hour weekday shifts (3-11pm or 11pm-7am)

Highlights:

• Advanced cardiovascular and vascular case mix including valve replacements, CABG, TAVR, dissections, VATs, VADs, and hybrid endovascular procedures
• Circulating required; scrub skills preferred
• EPIC and OR Manager (PICIS) charting systems
• Scrubs provided by facility
• First-time travelers accepted
• Opportunity to work with transplant cases (cardiac, lung, and/or kidney experience highly preferred)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2.5 years of OR experience required
• Active NJ State or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience required in cardiovascular cases: valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, dissections, VATs
• Strong general surgery and orthopedic experience for float assignments
• Endovascular and vascular experience required: endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, arteriogram, angiogram, TCAR, AV fistula, fem-pop bypass
• Some degree of transplant experience required
• Must be flexible with floating to Main OR within skillset
