Description
Start Date: September 17, 2025
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts available; Day shift includes support from charge nurse, unit coordinator, and PCTs; Night shift includes dedicated PCT support
Highlights:
- 25-bed Heart Telemetry unit within a dedicated cardiovascular facility
- Patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 with strong interdisciplinary support
- EMR: Meditech
- Work with advanced cardiac equipment including Baxter IV pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps
- Collaborative team of 40+ experienced nursing professionals
- Scrub color: Royal blue
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license or compact state license
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- Telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Experience managing chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and weight-based heparin drips preferred
- Solid foundation in general medical-surgical nursing competencies
