Schedule: Evening/Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Monday through Friday with 2-3 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period

Highlights:

• 26-bed Level IV NICU in a nationally recognized pediatric medical center
• Care for high-acuity neonates including post-operative, cardiac, neurological, and complex medical cases
• Epic EMR system utilized; recent experience preferred within the last 12 months
• Contract length up to 26 weeks with approximately 24 hours of orientation
• Work with advanced technology including multiple ventilator types, whole body cooling, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Patient-and family-centered care model in a state-of-the-art, Magnet-designated facility

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years total NICU III/IV experience, with at least 1 full year in a Level IV NICU setting
• Experience with post-operative patients, g-tubes, trach/vent management, and various modes of invasive/noninvasive ventilation
• Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact license from permanent address state
• BLS certification through American Heart Association only
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Basic Arrhythmia experience; must pass telemetry competency exam with strict passing criteria prior to start
• Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
