Description
Start Date: November 26, 2025
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day or night shift available; weekends as needed; no on-call required
Highlights:
- 22-bed telemetry unit with maximum 6:1 patient ratios
- Care for acute med/surg/telemetry patients including PCI and CABG post-op day 2
- Meditech EMR system in use
- Opportunity to float to other med/surg/telemetry units for variety and skill development
- Collaborative team environment with charge nurse, RN, PCA, and unit secretary support
- Royal blue scrubs provided as standard uniform
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year acute med/surg/telemetry experience within the last year required
- Ability to manage 4–6 patients simultaneously
- Proficiency in standard nursing skills: IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, continuous bladder irrigation, NGT insertion/maintenance, and EKG interpretation
- Preferred: 2+ years telemetry experience with PCI and CABG patient populations

Medsurg floors have 2 med rooms 2 pyxis in each room half your meds are always in either room either machine. The meds aren't alphabetical in the pyxis or anything so u have to check every machine for your meds.
