Schedule: Patient ratio 1:2, every 3rd weekend, 12-hour orientation

Highlights:

• Newly opened 4-bed pediatric unit serving neonates through adolescents
• Daily census of 1-2 patients with diagnoses including respiratory diseases, dehydration, jaundice, failure to thrive, and congenital medical issues
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Equipment includes high flow oxygen, cardiac monitoring, and bililights
• Float opportunities to Med/Surg, Emergency Department, or Family Birthplace based on experience
• Ideal for independent practitioners with strong pediatric emergency skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience is required
• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact state)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Three professional references required
