Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week; rotating weekends; no call required
Highlights:
- 13-week assignment in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Assignment based on patient acuity and clinical skill set
- Full access to ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
- Meditech documentation system in use
- Floating policy based on facility needs
- Exposure to a full range of critical care procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- 2+ years of MICU or Medical/Surgical ICU experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Meditech experience preferred
- Royal blue scrubs required; adherence to professional appearance standards including nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing policies
