Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week; rotating weekends; no call required

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Assignment based on patient acuity and clinical skill set
• Full access to ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Meditech documentation system in use
• Floating policy based on facility needs
• Exposure to a full range of critical care procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years of MICU or Medical/Surgical ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required; adherence to professional appearance standards including nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing policies
