Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend
Highlights:
- Mixed acuity progressive care unit with 17-bed capacity
- 5:1 patient ratio with cardiac monitoring and telemetry
- EMR system: Cerner
- Float opportunities to PCU or Med/Surg units as needed
- No call requirements
- Work within a renowned academic medical center recognized for groundbreaking cardiac and transplant programs
Requirements:
- Active Kentucky RN license
- BLS and NIH certifications
- Minimum 2 years of progressive care or telemetry nursing experience
- Experience managing cardiac drips and telemetry patients
- Proven ability to manage higher patient ratios (5-6 patients)
- Strong critical thinking and self-motivation skills
