Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, max 7 days RTO, no call

Highlights:

• Adult to geriatric patient population with full Med-Surg case mix
• 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 32-bed unit with average daily census of 29
• Epic EMR required; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• 36-hour orientation with bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Skills include wound care, PICC line management, blood product administration, feeding tube management, and chest tube care
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Epic charting system experience required
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
• Proficiency in isolation precautions, IV starts, wound care/wound vac, high flow nasal cannula, and telemetry monitoring
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
