Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM; 36 guaranteed hours per week; every other weekend required
Highlights:
- Mixed acuity unit with 17 beds and 5:1 patient ratios
- Work in a nationally recognized academic medical center known for pioneering cardiac care and transplant services
- Cerner EMR system with modern equipment including cardiac monitoring, Provizio SEMs scanner, and IV pumps
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience utilizing cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
- Float opportunities to PCU or Med Surg units
- No on-call requirements
Requirements:
- Active Kentucky RN license
- BLS and NIH certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- PCU experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring required
- Must have experience managing higher patient ratios (5-6 patients)
- Willingness to float to PCU or Med Surg units as needed
