Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Colorado

Start Date: Not specified
Location: Denver Metro Area, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Highlights:

20-bed medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative burn and flap patient care
Patient ratio of 6:1 with LPN support on a collaborative team including charge nurse, RNs, LPNs, and PCTs
Work with specialized equipment including wound vacs, hoyer lifts, and air taps
Meditech EMR system in use
Focus on advanced wound care and dressing management for post-op patients
Strong, experienced team environment with 35 staff members

Requirements:

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility
Medical-surgical nursing experience required
Wound care experience preferred
Burn care experience highly preferred
BLS certification required
