Schedule: Day shift (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or Night shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM); 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• 20-bed Progressive Care Unit in a cardiac center of excellence
• Fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac specialty unit with advanced monitoring and equipment
• Experience with critical drips including heparin, tikosyn, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, Lasix, and ketamine
• Meditech EMR system with comprehensive telemetry and transport monitoring capabilities
• Collaborative team environment with experienced charge nurses and established support staff
• Hands-on procedural experience including chest tube management, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs

Requirements:

• Current RN license in good standing
• ACLS certification required
• Progressive Care Unit or cardiac care experience required
• Proficiency with critical cardiac drips and high-acuity patient management
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, chest tubes, tracheostomies, BiPAP/CPAP, heated high flow oxygen, and pacemakers
