Job Opportunity – Oncology ICU Registered Nurse – Texas
Start Date: Not specified
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, day and night available; rotating weekends required; report times 0645 or 1845
Highlights:
- 10-bed Oncology Intensive Care Unit specializing in critically ill oncology patients
- 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring focused, high-quality care
- Advanced critical care equipment including ventilators, CRRT, A-lines, BiPAP, and Flow-track technology
- Meditech EMR system
- Collaborative environment with strong physician rapport and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Float opportunities to other ICUs, PCU, and BMT units for skill diversification
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license or compact state license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong ICU experience with ventilator management and vasoactive drip titration
- BiPAP experience required
- CRRT experience preferred
- Transplant experience (kidney, pancreas, liver) strongly preferred
