Description
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Location: Plano, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend, call requirements included
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a progressive care telemetry unit
- Work with an acute stepdown patient population requiring advanced monitoring and critical thinking
- Electronic medical record system in use (Meditech experience preferred)
- Floating to other units as needed based on facility census
- Supportive clinical environment with opportunities to develop specialized PCU skills
- Professional dress code with royal blue scrubs for RNs
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Texas (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in PCU or stepdown settings
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Meditech electronic health record experience preferred
