Description
Start Date: January 27, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment, flexible scheduling with advance notice
Highlights:
- 16-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 patient ratios
- Specialized focus on surgical oncology patient population
- Advanced ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
- Meditech EMR documentation system
- Assignments based on acuity and skill level for optimal patient care
- Exposure to critical procedures including CRRT, hypothermia protocols, central line placements, and bedside interventions
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with surgical patient populations, especially oncology
- CCRN certification preferred
- Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocols preferred
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
