Location: Rochester, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Work in a 528-bed Magnet-recognized acute care teaching facility with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park affiliations
• Progressive care unit with 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio, caring for adult and geriatric populations
• Manage stepdown-level patients including long-term pulmonary cases, ENT surgery, and post-surgical care
• EPIC charting system with 16 hours of orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy
• Float within skillset to similar units as needed

Requirements:

• Active New York Single State RN license required prior to submission (NY is not a Compact state; pending licenses not accepted)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent progressive care or stepdown experience required
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory
• Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Proficiency in central and peripheral line care, IV therapy, blood product administration, and managing cardiac drips (no titration)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius of the facility
• Charge nurse experience preferred
