Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; two weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule

Highlights:

• 34-bed post-operative medical/surgical unit with 6:1 patient ratios
• Tech support available on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage 7am-7pm
• Meditech electronic medical record system
• Work at an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke and Certified Chest Pain Center designations
• Modern equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, SCD devices, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication technology
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Medical/surgical nursing experience required
• Strong ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively
• Proficiency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
