Schedule: 36 hours per week, Night shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment, Weekend and call requirements discussed during interview

Highlights:

• Exposure to complex critical care cases including ventilated patients, trauma, and post-operative pediatric patients

• Day and night shift positions available with experienced clinical team

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Critical Care experience in a high-acuity setting
• Experience managing critically ill pediatric patients with complex disease processes including respiratory illnesses, sepsis, and DKA
• Proficiency with pressure lines (CVPs, arterial lines, UAC/UVC)
• Experience with ventilated patients including HFOV, VDR, and Servo ventilators
• Knowledge of critical care drips including epinephrine, norepinephrine, milrinone, dopamine, and precedex
• Experience with complex trauma and post-operative pediatric patients including EVDs, Codmans, and neuro assessments
• Competency in procedures such as Foley insertions, trans-pyloric feeding tubes, dressing changes, and port access
• Professional appearance adhering to facility dress code including blue scrubs for RNs
