Schedule: Weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday); no mandatory on-call, but available for voluntary pickup

Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing angiography, cardiac catheterization, and interventional radiology procedures
• Participate in pre-procedure assessments, sedation monitoring, post-procedure recovery, and patient education
• Scrub in to assist physicians during procedures and manage a variety of advanced cardiac equipment including hemodynamic monitors, IABP, and defibrillators
• Support diagnostic testing including stress echocardiograms, treadmill exams, TEE, cardioversions, and pacemaker interrogations
• Perform PICC line insertions and serve as a vascular access resource
• Epic EMR experience preferred; travel nursing experience a plus

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN license (verified via LARA and/or Nursys)
• Current Cath Lab RN experience required
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and IABP operation experience preferred
• Completed skills checklist (current within one year, specific to Cath Lab) required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application
