Location: Rochester, New York

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement

Highlights:

• Work in a 528-bed tertiary care hospital with a robust interdisciplinary team
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 on a dynamic Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Epic charting system experience required
• 13-week assignment with potential for extension
• Engage in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and rapid response protocols
• First-time travelers welcome with at least 1 year of acute care experience

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered New York RN license in hand prior to submission (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system (required)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, peripheral line care, respiratory support including oxygen delivery systems, and isolation precautions
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
