Description
Start Date: February 2, 2026
Location: Reno, Nevada
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM, variable days; 12-hour shifts with on-call as needed
Highlights:
- Provide specialized respiratory care across adult critical care and neonatal intensive care units
- Work with advanced neonatal technologies including high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, and bubble CPAP
- Opportunity to utilize expertise in neonatal intubation, ventilator management, and delivery attendance
- Float to multiple critical care areas, enhancing clinical versatility and experience
- Travel assignment requiring candidates to reside 100+ miles from facility
- Dynamic role including diagnostic evaluation, patient management, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation
Requirements:
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credentials required
- ABG License required
- Minimum 3+ years of Level III NICU experience (non-negotiable)
- Demonstrated competency in high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox therapy, neonatal intubation, neonatal ventilator management, bubble CPAP, heated high flow for neonates, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- NICU transport experience preferred
- Must reside 100 miles or more from the facility location
