Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts, every other weekend required, holiday availability expected

Highlights:

• 26-bed cardiac telemetry unit caring for CHF patients, acute MIs, post-pacemaker placement, and arrhythmia management
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 on Medical-Surgical unit
• 528-bed tertiary care hospital with Epic charting system
• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, and respiratory support
• Floating to other units required as needed
• Travel nurses welcome; first-time travelers accepted

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license in hand prior to submission (no exceptions)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications current and required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Rapid Response/Code team protocols
• Proficiency with peripheral line care, oxygen delivery systems, and isolation precautions
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
