Location: Rochester, New York

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 13-week contract with every other weekend and holiday rotation

• Work in a 26-bed specialty unit caring for patients post-PCI, pacemaker and AICD placement, post-MI, and cardiac pharmacologic interventions

• EPIC charting system in use
• 13-week assignment with structured scheduling and time-off policies
• Opportunity to work in an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center with specialized cardiac and neuroscience services

Requirements:

• Active New York Single State RN license (must be in hand prior to submission; NY is not a Compact state)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Clinical competencies including IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, peripheral line care, cardiac monitoring and emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code team participation, oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, and wound care including wound vac management
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Willingness to float within skillset as needed
• Availability for every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
