Description
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Reno, Nevada
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 36 or 48 hour weekly commitment, 12-hour shifts; on-call availability required; flexibility for overtime shifts as needed
Highlights:
- Specialized Level 3 NICU environment with advanced neonatal respiratory care
- Comprehensive case mix including high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, and bubble CPAP
- Float opportunities across adult critical care and neonatal critical care units
- Hands-on experience with neonatal intubation, ventilator management, and delivery attendance
- NICU transport experience preferred and valued
- Travel assignment requiring residence 100+ miles from facility
Requirements:
- Greater than 3 years of Level 3 NICU respiratory therapy experience required
- Demonstrated competency in high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide administration, and heliox therapy
- Proficiency in neonatal intubation, ventilator management, and heated high flow for neonates
- Experience with bubble CPAP, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery room attendance
- Current NRP, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Ability to float to adult and neonatal critical care areas
- Must reside 100+ miles from facility location
