Schedule: 06:45–17:15 with liver call coverage; will participate in other cases if no liver/transplant surgeries scheduled. 36–40 guaranteed hours per week; 1 call shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month

Highlights:

• Specialize in advanced transplant cases including liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplantation
• Work in a 230-bed short-term acute care teaching facility with 18 operating rooms and daily census of 55–60
• Use EPIC charting system and advanced surgical equipment including Misonix/CUSA technology
• Participate in training and mentorship opportunities with students and new staff
• 40 hours of orientation provided; free parking on-site

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered RN license for Florida (pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of direct Operating Room experience with strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant background required
• Proven experience with organ implantation (placing organs in recipient patients), not just procurement/harvesting
• Proficiency in Misonix/CUSA equipment is mandatory
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Nicotine-free status required; negative 10-panel drug screen plus cotinine test within 12 months of start date
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Willingness to float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront with application
• Two professional references from direct supervisors, managers, or directors required
