Location: Seneca, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; every other weekend required; 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio; 12-hour orientation provided

Highlights:

• 10-bed Progressive ICU focused on step-down patients transitioning from ICU with higher acuity monitoring needs
• Adult and geriatric patient population with diagnoses including respiratory failure, sepsis, heart failure, DKA/HHS, alcohol withdrawal, and overdose
• Epic EMR system; 1 year of Epic charting experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and more
• First-time travelers welcome; local candidates considered based on distance requirements
• 12 hours paid orientation; pre-assignment modules reimbursed up to 16 hours

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina or multistate RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent progressive care or ICU experience
• 1 year of Epic EMR charting experience required
• Proficiency in IV therapy/phlebotomy, arterial and central line management, ventilator care, BiPAP/CPAP, isolation precautions, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Willingness to float to other qualified units as needed based on census
