Schedule: Full shift coverage with every other weekend rotation; no call required

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Active NIHSS certification
• Skills checklist pertinent to Med Surg/Telemetry (current to within 1 year)
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac medication administration including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardene, Dobutamine, Lasix, and Bumex
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of heart rhythms
• Knowledge of stroke signs and symptoms with ability to recognize and intervene during patient status changes
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to attendance and punctuality for all assigned shifts
