Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts (36 guaranteed hours per week); two weekends per month required

Highlights:

• Short-term acute care teaching facility with 332 staffed beds
• Epic charting system – Level 3 or 4 Epic experience required
• Float to multiple facilities within a 20-mile radius to meet operational needs
• Diverse ER case mix including trauma, cardiac emergencies, and critical care patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience; 18 months required, 2 years preferred
• Active Florida RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Epic Level 3 or 4 experience required
• Skills required: arterial line management, dysrhythmia management, central line care, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, trauma care including gunshot wounds and amputations
• EKG and pharmacology testing during orientation (two attempts maximum; study materials provided)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Nicotine-free status required – negative 10-panel drug screen plus cotinine test within 12 months of start
• Two professional references from direct supervisors or nurse managers
