Highlights:

• Perform diagnostic testing across multiple laboratory departments including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, and microbiology
• Conduct venipuncture, finger stick, and heel stick procedures on patients in a compassionate, efficient manner
• Maintain quality control standards and documentation in compliance with laboratory protocols
• Work within established performance standards for specimen handling, test analysis, and result reporting
• Coverage assignment for temporary leave
• Opportunity to work in a comprehensive clinical laboratory setting

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
• Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required
• Minimum 2 years recent CLS experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency in quality control procedures, corrective action protocols, and proficiency testing documentation
• Strong technical skills in laboratory instrumentation, calibration, and maintenance
