Location: Rochester, New York

Schedule: 4x12 rotating days/nights, every other weekend, holiday coverage required

Highlights:

• 26-bed specialized cardiac unit caring for CHF patients, acute MIs, post-pacemaker device care, and arrhythmia management
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 in a 528-bed tertiary care hospital setting
• Epic charting system with up to 5 billable hours for pre-start module completion
• Hands-on cardiac monitoring with dysrhythmia interpretation and emergency response protocols
• Full IV therapy, phlebotomy, respiratory care, and wound management responsibilities
• Floating to other units required as part of the assignment

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license in hand prior to submission (no exceptions)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
• Availability limited to travelers with 10 days or fewer of requested time off
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and Rapid Response/Code team participation
