Location: Livingston, New Jersey

Schedule: Monday–Friday, block scheduling with shared on-call rotation. Weekend on-call rotates monthly (4 RNs share coverage one month, off the next). Weekday on-call 5:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Highlights:

• Endoscopy unit serving all patient age groups from infants to geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 15 patients across 3 procedure rooms and 11 beds
• Team-based approach: 2 RNs or 1 RN and 1 tech per procedure; 4 RNs assigned to post-procedure area
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Unit operates Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–7:00 PM with equitable on-call coverage
• First-time travelers accepted; locals welcome at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills in pediatric endoscopy, pre/post procedure care, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound preferred
• Experience with conscious sedation recovery and monitored anesthesia care
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be willing to float within skillset
