Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage required; 4:1 patient ratio; 24-hour orientation

Highlights:

• Level II Trauma Center with STEMI and Stroke certification serving a high-acuity, diverse patient population
• Daily census of 250-340 visits with combined adult and pediatric emergency care (30% pediatric volume)
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams
• Complex case mix including trauma, CVA, AMI, sepsis, behavioral health, and critical care procedures
• Opportunities for advanced skills including procedural sedation, arterial line management, chest tube insertion, and ventilator care
• Float opportunities available across facilities within the state

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; pediatric population experience is mandatory
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and LA City Fire Card (within 30 days)
• Experience with 4:1 patient ratios and Epic charting preferred
• Strong skills in trauma care, neuro-trauma, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation, and emergency medications
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
