Location: Rochester, New York

Schedule: 4x12 day shifts, 0700-1900, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• High-volume telemetry and medical-surgical units within a 528-bed tertiary care hospital
• Care for cardiac patients including CHF, acute MI, post-pacemaker placement, and arrhythmias on a 26-bed unit
• General surgery experience with 51-bed unit caring for colorectal, ostomy, plastic surgery, breast procedures, and reconstruction patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7, providing dynamic clinical experience
• EPIC charting system in use; required experience
• Floating between units required; opportunity to expand clinical skill set

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license in hand prior to submission (no exceptions)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, wound care, and airway management
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers accepted
