Description
Start Date: April 20, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1:1 patient ratio; rotating weekends; call typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks; may float within facility/scope of practice
Highlights:
- Cardiovascular and thoracic surgical specialty focus including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, vascular procedures, and thoracotomies
- Epic charting system in use
- 13-week assignment with orientation hours included based on contract length
- Interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred; community hospital experience a plus
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
- Current Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proficiency in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical scrubbing techniques
- Experience with IABP, VAD, MAZE procedures, and VATS preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
