Description
Start Date: July 13, 2026 (following completion of 120-day privileging process)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 1:1 patient ratio, call required one day per week and one weekend every four weeks (subject to departmental needs), floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
Highlights:
- Opportunity to work with a diverse cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical case mix including transplant procedures
- Experience with advanced procedures including CABG, VAD, TAVR, TEVAR, and heart transplants (highly preferred)
- Epic charting system preferred, trauma-level experience valued
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
- Up to 7 days of approved time off available during assignment
- Local candidates welcomed at the same compensation rate
Requirements:
- Current Georgia or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
- CSFA certification required (NBSTSA or NCCSA also accepted)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic first assistant experience (hard requirement)
- Two supervisory references from Manager level or above
- Availability to complete privileging documentation and labs within 48 hours of contract signature
- Full compliance documentation required to start on time
