Start Date: March 16, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Nights and weekends in a fast-paced Emergency Department trauma setting; 2 trauma bays; primary and secondary survey period focus
Highlights:
- Trauma Nurse Lead position in a 354-bed facility with the largest burn center in the country
- Emergency Department known for the shortest wait times in the area
- Advanced trauma equipment including Level 1 rapid infuser, HOT LINE, EKG, ultrasound, Hamilton ventilator, and Alaris IV pumps
- Collaborative environment with opportunities to assist in OR when needed and perform critical bedside procedures
- Meditech EMR documentation system
- Required uniform provided: red top and black bottom scrubs
Requirements:
- TNCC certification (required)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- ENPC certification (preferred)
- Strong IV placement skills and mass transfusion experience using Level 1 rapid infuser
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-stress, high-acuity environments
- Rapid critical thinking and excellent clinical decision-making skills
- Experience with emergency bedside procedures including IV placement, spinal stabilization, splinting, chest tube assistance, traction, and central/arterial line placement
