Job Opportunity – Trauma Nurse Lead – Georgia

Start Date: March 16, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Nights and weekends in a fast-paced Emergency Department trauma setting; 2 trauma bays; primary and secondary survey period focus

Highlights:

  • Trauma Nurse Lead position in a 354-bed facility with the largest burn center in the country
  • Emergency Department known for the shortest wait times in the area
  • Advanced trauma equipment including Level 1 rapid infuser, HOT LINE, EKG, ultrasound, Hamilton ventilator, and Alaris IV pumps
  • Collaborative environment with opportunities to assist in OR when needed and perform critical bedside procedures
  • Meditech EMR documentation system
  • Required uniform provided: red top and black bottom scrubs

Requirements:

  • TNCC certification (required)
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required)
  • ENPC certification (preferred)
  • Strong IV placement skills and mass transfusion experience using Level 1 rapid infuser
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-stress, high-acuity environments
  • Rapid critical thinking and excellent clinical decision-making skills
  • Experience with emergency bedside procedures including IV placement, spinal stabilization, splinting, chest tube assistance, traction, and central/arterial line placement
