Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift with call coverage; weekends and on-call required

Highlights:

• Work in a 220-bed regional facility's Diagnostic Testing Center
• Utilize modern equipment including GE Vivid E9 ultrasound systems
• Perform comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and assist with transesophageal studies
• Build structured reports using Meditech EMR
• Join a collaborative team of 4 full-time and 3 PRN cardiac sonographers
• Opportunity to administer ultrasound contrast such as Definity and agitated saline

Requirements:

• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
• State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License
• Ability to perform complete adult transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms
• Experience providing portable echocardiograms in patient rooms
• Experience building structured reports for physician review
