Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Rotating shifts (days/nights) with varying weekend coverage; minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Highlights:

• Specialize in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care within a 51-bed Level 3 NICU, 10-bed PICU, and 20-bed pediatric floor
• Work with advanced equipment including Draeger Infant/Peds ventilators, HFOV, Infant Flow SiPAP, and Vapotherm systems
• Patient ratios ranging from 10–25, supporting both critical and stable respiratory patients
• Utilize Cerner EMR for comprehensive documentation and care coordination
• Join a team of 17 dedicated NICU/Peds respiratory therapists within a robust department of 120 total staff
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and perform full airway and ventilator management

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License (must be in hand prior to submission)
• RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required (CRT not acceptable)
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• NPS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Experience with intubation, extubation, and arterial/capillary blood gas collection and analysis
